Thursday 13th August - walks *** – Felixstowe and Waldringfield – sunny
and hot.
Mag was going to have a day off from her early morning walk today but we
woke early and when I heard her head off to the prom at six I decided to
head out in the van with no idea what to take today’s weather pics and
headed up at the cliff top car park with the sun shining over the kite
lagoon! I walked down to the beach to take a few beach hut pics in the
lovely golden light before heading home to send then to the telly! Up
fairly early as the plumber is coming to service the boiler, then we had
breakfast in a hot back garden and I had just enough time before driving
over to Waldringfield church to have a nice walk down to the River Deben
where it was very hot, not helped by the light winds but it was great to
see loads of kids crabbing and swimming as the tide was high! We then
headed to a lovely young lady who we child minded from a baby who is part
of the family for a top lunch in the shady back garden with her super
partner! After a top couple of hours we walked back to the van and it felt
even hotter!
Despite being disappointed with my eclipse pics I did get some interesting
pics of the people watching and was pleased that some were used by BBC
Suffolk and the East Anglian Daily Times :)
